The Franchi 2005 Trap Combination shotgun includes: - 32” over/under barrel with improved-modified and full fixed chokes - 34” single barrel with full choke - Both barrels have high elevated sighting ribs with center bead - Single selective trigger and automatic ejectors - Cast off (right hand) Monte Carlo stock of selected grade AA walnut - Weight: 8 lbs. 6 oz. - Length of Pull: 14.5” - Comes with Franchi fitted gun case - All original and unaltered, and in near-new condition Franchi designed the 2005 Combination Trap shotgun in collaboration with the finest trap shooters in America. Franchi started with the frame. Machined in a single piece from a solid steel forging for incredible strength. Next, Franchi designed a special trigger which brings your shooting finger to the exact same position shot after shot. Franchi calls it the “ceiling-swell” trigger. Then, Franchi created a trigger mechanism that is crisp and clean, without slack. And to make sure they stay that way, Franchi mounts them all directly to the solid steel receiver. To cut down on wind resistance and for maximum heat dissipation, Franchi separated the barrels from forend to muzzle. Franchi then added the exclusive steel muzzle collar that lets either barrel expand independently, without affecting the alignment of the other. Franchi 2005 combination trap shotguns have chrome-lined chambers and bores for freedom from rust and leading. To give you a definite bird breaking advantage, Franchi designed the exclusive “hi-loft” rib. Machined from solid bar stock, this higher non-glare sighting plane provides you with the clearest sight picture yet achieved. The stock and broad forends of these exceptional competition guns are hand crafted from specially selected AA European walnut. Matched for density and grain structure, each is generously hand checkered with a distinctive pattern. Francji’s unique cast-off Monte Carlo stock places your sighting eye in a more natural position along the sighting plane for more accurate bird-breaking ability with less fatigue.
