Seller Description
Ithaca Flues Grade 4E serial #275738 made in 1916. A 10 gauge gun with massive 32” Damascus barrels choked full and full by my drop in gauge. Chokes not marked on the barrel flats. Ivory front and mid beads. LOP is 14” to an Ithaca HRBP. DAC is 1 1/2’; DAH is 2 1/2”. Gold double triggers and ejectors. Pistol grip buttstock with checkered grip cap. Beautiful highly figured checkered walnut buttstock and forend. Checkering is very sharp. Buttstock has blank gold shield. Frame is heavily engraved with ducks on the left side, a pheasant on the right side and scroll work on the floor plate and trigger guard. Engraving is attributed to Bill McGraw. Frame retains almost all of the original case color. Beautiful Damascus barrels with no scratches, dings or is excellent with no scratches or marks. Gun is all original and 99% overall. Certainly one of the highest condition early guns that I have ever encountered.
