Seller Description
The AWA Limited Edition Lightning Rifle/Carbine was strictly a special order gun offered with either a 24" or 20" barrel in 32-20, 38 spec, 38-40, 44-40, or 45 Colt. The buyer specified the barrel length, the caliber, and the serial number specs. This one has a lovingly hand finished 20" blued barrel with 10 round capacity, a hard chromed receiver, engraved with the AWA logo and Old West scenery, and very nicely figured walnut furniture. Features included a blade front sight, an adjustable Buckhorn rear sight, and a firing pin block safety. This example is # 176 of 500. We believe it to be unfired, but since we have not owned it since it was delivered new, it is listed as "used". The metal and wood are completely blemish free. It will make a fine addition to any collection of "lightning" style long guns.
