Serial number is 11774 and this s/n is stamped on both the slide and the grip. In addition stamped on the slide is "ac ZELLA - MEHLIS, GERMANY" and some other German letters. ZELLA - MEHLIS is the city in Germany where the Walter plant produced all its pre WW2 and during WW2 pistols. This pistol is in excellent shape with no scratches or blemishes. Most likely used by an officer in the German Secret Police (SS) or a Nazi officer. The low s/n indicates it was one of the first PPKs manufactured by Walther.
