| 2/4/2015 | ★ colt 1st gen single action Seller not familiar with gun control act of 1968...pistol made prior to 1898 and not considered a firearm by BATF.....and should have been sent directly to buyer....seller refused to believe this...transaction did not go throught...I asked for a full refund. hammer hooks worn negative causing follow down
left thumb safety not fitted dragging on slide
slide fit beyond sloppy
extractor tension not even close
Whatever happened to pride in workmanship?
I would understand a firearm in this condition having been sold by a user with no knowledge, but to come from a “custom” gunsmith as it was represented was very disappointing.
