The M&P15 Sport II is an AR-15 style semi-automatic carbine built on forged 7075 T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers with a 16in 4140 steel barrel finished with Smith & Wesson's Armornite corrosion-resistant coating. The rifle ships with a 30-round polymer magazine, a 6-position collapsible stock and a polymer pistol grip. Factory features include a forged integral trigger guard, forward assist, dust cover, chromed firing pin and a 1:9" twist rifling.
