The M&P 15-22 Sport is a blowback-operated .22 LR semi-automatic built on polymer upper and lower receivers with familiar M&P controls. This Sport configuration features a 16.5in carbon steel barrel, A2 birdcage flash suppressor, and ships with one 25-round polymer magazine. The Sport model adds a slim handguard with M-LOK slots and a Picatinny-style top rail, B5 Systems Bravo stock and B5 P-Grip for improved ergonomics, and folding MBUS front and rear sights. The platform is optic-ready and compatible with most standard AR-15 components for training and recreational use.
