The Smith & Wesson Governor is a six-shot snubnosed revolver built on S&W's large Z-frame. It is chambered to accept .410 2.5" shotshells, .45 ACP (with moon clips) and .45 Colt, and features a 2.75" stainless steel barrel and a six-round stainless steel cylinder.
The Governor uses a scandium alloy frame to reduce weight and ships with a synthetic textured grip. Available with a black blade front sight and an integral fixed rear sight, the Governor is a double-action/single-action revolver with an overall length of 8.5" and a listed weight of approximately 29.6 oz. Finish for the listed SKU is matte silver.
