The Remington 887 Nitro Mag is a 12-gauge pump-action field shotgun finished with Remington's ArmorLokt overmolded polymer that covers the steel receiver and barrel to resist corrosion and abrasion. It was offered with a synthetic stock and contoured grip panels and a SuperCell recoil pad. The standard configuration features a 28in ArmorLokt barrel with an integral (solid) rib, a Hi-Viz LitePipe front bead (interchangeable light tube) and a threaded Rem® choke system. It is chambered for 2 3/4", 3" and 3 1/2" shells and ships with an internal tube magazine (standard 2 3/4"/3" capacity 4 rounds; 3 1/2" capacity
