The HK MP5 .22 is a rimfire variant of the classic MP5 platform built in Germany by Umarex for Heckler & Koch. This Sports South Exclusive configuration is finished in Flat Dark Earth with a black polymer grip and features an 8.50 in barrel and no shoulder stock (sling mount configuration).
Powered by a simple blowback action and fed from detachable box magazines, the MP5 .22 retains MP5-style controls including an adjustable rear sight and a manual safety. The model is intended as a trainer and recreational/range firearm and is listed with a dealer MSRP of $479.
