The Savage/Stevens 301 Turkey is a single-shot, break-open turkey shotgun finished with a Mossy Oak Obsession synthetic stock and fore-end. It features a 26 in barrel, a 3" chamber optimized for heavyweight TSS turkey loads, and ships with an extra-full turkey choke (Win. 1/2-32 UN). The 301 includes a removable one-piece rail (optic-ready) and a front bead sight. The action uses a manual hammer-blocking safety and a recoil pad; swivel studs are fitted to the stock and fore-end. The model is a lightweight, no-frills turkey gun intended for field use.
