Manufacturer Description
The Winchester SX4 Waterfowl Hunter is a gas-operated semi-automatic hunting shotgun built on Winchester's SX4 platform. The Waterfowl Hunter configuration is offered in camo finishes and is chambered to handle 3-1/2" waterfowl loads while also cycling lighter 2-3/4" and 3" shells. It is offered in 26- and 28-inch barrel options and is built with a durable alloy receiver and synthetic stock.
Key features include Winchester's Active Valve gas operating system for reliable cycling with a variety of loads, a four-round magazine capacity for 2-3/4" shells, a composite stock and textured gripping surfaces for improved handling, and a drilled/tapped alloy receiver (Picatinny-ready) to accommodate optics on some configurations. The design also uses a reversible crossbolt safety and a drop-out trigger group for easier servicing.
