The Mossberg 940 Pro Field (item #85154) is a 12-gauge autoloading field shotgun built on Mossberg’s updated 940 Pro gas system and configured for wingshooting and general field use. It features a 28-inch vent-rib barrel with a front fiber-optic sight, a matte blue receiver and barrel finish, and dark walnut forend and stock with adjustable length-of-pull (13"–14.25").
The barrel is threaded for Mossberg’s AccuChoke® system and ships with Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder choke tubes. Standard features verified by the manufacturer include a drilled-and-tapped receiver for mounting optics, ambidextrous safety, sling swivel studs, oversized charging handle and bolt release, anodized follower, and nickel-boron coated internal gas components. The 940 Pro Field ships with a 4+1 capacity and an approximate weight of 8 lbs.
