The CZ 712 G3 is a gas-operated 12 gauge semi-automatic built to handle both 2 3/4" and 3" shotshells. The Field/standard walnut configuration ships with a 28-inch chrome-lined barrel, an 8mm ventilated rib and a single bead front sight. The receiver and barrel have a black/chrome finish and the gun includes five CZ Active extended choke tubes (F, IM, M, IC, C).
The 712 G3 Field model features a Turkish walnut stock and forend, a crossbolt safety, a 4+1 magazine capacity (limiter plug to reduce capacity available), and an aluminum receiver. Manufacturer specs list an overall length of 49.75 in and a weight of 7.3 lbs for the 28" walnut variant.
