The CZ 1012 G2 Field Sports is an inertia-driven semi-automatic shotgun designed for field use. It features a reliable gas-less (inertia) operating system, a 28 in barrel, overall length of 49 in, and ships with five CZ Active extended choke tubes.
Built with Turkish walnut furniture and a black gloss receiver/barrel finish, the 1012 G2 has an aluminum receiver, oversized controls, a reversible cross-bolt safety for right- or left-handed shooters, and a bead front sight. The shotgun is specified at approximately 6.5 lbs and a 4+1 capacity (four in the tube plus one in the chamber).
The G2 platform accommodates the addition of a magazine tube extension and includes features intended for hunting and sport shooting applications.
