The Browning A5 Sweet Sixteen is a 16-gauge, recoil-operated semi-automatic built on a gauge-specific, lighter receiver and driven by Browning's Kinematic Drive System. It is chambered for 2 3/4" shells and is offered with 26" or 28" barrels; capacity is a four-round tubular magazine. The A5 features the Invector-DS choke system (three chokes included), a chrome-plated chamber and bore, a fiber-optic front sight, and Browning's Inflex II recoil pad for reduced felt recoil.
Construction and fit include an aluminum-alloy receiver, Grade-1 Turkish walnut (wood models) or composite furniture on some variants, TurnKey magazine plug and an included ABS case. Browning backs the A5 with a 5-year / 100,000-round guarantee. (Features and configuration vary by Sweet Sixteen variant.)
