The A400 Xcel Sporting is Beretta’s competition-focused semi-automatic built around the B-Link gas system for fast, reliable cycling. The Xcel Sporting features an enlarged loading port and oversized controls for speedy reloads and handling during sporting-clays use. The model is offered with Beretta’s Kick-Off recoil reduction system and a MicroCore recoil pad for reduced perceived recoil.
Barrel and patterning are handled by Beretta’s Steelium/Steelium Plus barrels with Optimabore/Optimachoke HP chokes and a 10x8 competition rib. The receiver uses Beretta’s Aqua Tech Shield corrosion-resistant coating and an aircraft-grade aluminum construction; stocks are sporting-style wood with ergonomic pistol grip and checkered fore-end.
