The Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting is a competition-grade semi-automatic shotgun built on Beretta's A400 action with the B-Link gas operating system for fast, reliable cycling and reduced maintenance. It features Beretta's Aqua Tech Shield corrosion-resistant surface treatment, Steelium® Plus barrels and Optimachoke® HP (OCHP) choke system (as specified for A400 Xcel Sporting models).
This configuration is a 12 gauge, 3" chamber model with a 28in barrel (A400 Xcel Sporting, model code J42CJ18 in distributor catalogs). The A400 Xcel Sporting family includes Kick-Off recoil mitigation (on some variants), MicroCore® recoil pad and competition-style vent ribbing; chokes and other accessories are supplied per A400 Xcel Sporting specification.
