The Beretta A300 Ultima is a gas-operated, semi-automatic shotgun with a self-cleaning cylinder and piston designed to handle a wide range of 2 3/4" and 3" cartridges. The receiver is CNC-machined from a solid block of light alloy aluminium and undergoes an anodic oxidation process for corrosion and scratch resistance. The A300 Ultima uses Beretta Mobilchoke® interchangeable choke tubes made of plated steel for improved patterning and steel-shot compatibility.
The A300 Ultima features a contoured polymer stock with an elastomer cheekpiece and an internal Beretta Kick-Off® recoil-reducing system. The model ships with a stepped top rib and a front sight. In factory hunting configuration the manual states the magazine is fitted with a reducer limiting magazine capacity to two rounds (two in the magazine plus one in the chamber).
