The Remington 870 Fieldmaster is a pump-action 12 gauge shotgun offered in a long-barrel vent-rib hunting configuration. This configuration is listed with a 28 in vent-rib barrel, 3" chamber, and a 4+1 magazine capacity.
This Fieldmaster configuration is finished with a matte blued barrel and receiver and fitted with satin walnut furniture. It is supplied with Rem-Choke removable choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder) and a bead front sight; the receiver is listed as drilled & tapped for scope mounts.
The model is built on the Model 870 pump platform and uses a traditional cross-bolt safety and a solid-steel receiver construction.
