The Remington 870 Wingmaster is a pump-action field shotgun finished in high polish blued steel with American walnut furniture finished in a high-gloss sheen. Many Wingmaster vent-rib configurations are chambered for 2 3/4" and 3" shells and were offered with a 28" hammer-forged vent rib barrel with RemChoke interchangeable choke tubes and twin-bead sights.
This model is built on Remington's proven twin action-bar pump design and typically ships with a 4-round tubular magazine and a cross-bolt safety. Typical factory specifications for 12-gauge, 28" vent-rib Wingmaster examples list an overall length of about 48.5 inches and an average weight around 7 lbs.
