The Remington 870 Wingmaster is a classic pump-action shotgun built with a forged/machined steel receiver and traditional walnut furniture. Many Wingmaster sporting variants were offered with high-gloss walnut stocks and the distinctive fleur-de-lis style checkering used on stock and forend.
Wingmaster vent-rib field models were produced with vented/vent rib barrels and twin-bead sights and finished in a high-polish blued finish. The design and feature set position the Wingmaster as a traditional field/hunting shotgun commonly used for upland and waterfowl work as well as sport shooting.
