Manufacturer Description
The Remington Model 870 Fieldmaster is a workmanlike pump-action shotgun built on the legendary 870 platform. The receiver is machined from a solid billet of steel and the action uses improved twin action bars for smooth, reliable operation. Fieldmaster models are offered in 12 gauge, 20 gauge and .410 bore and are finished in a non-reflective satin black carbon-steel finish.
Built for hunting and range use, the Fieldmaster comes with vent-rib, bead-sighted barrels and ships with Rem™ flush chokes and the tools/accessories needed for hunting use, including a choke wrench, cable lock and magazine plug. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics, and the design emphasizes a durable, field-ready configuration with traditional pointing characteristics.
