The Mossberg 590S Shockwave is a compact 12 gauge pump-action Shockwave variant built to cycle 1.75", 2.75" and 3" shells interchangeably. The 14.375" cylinder-bore barrel and strapped corncob-style forend with hand strap combine with a Shockwave bird’s-head grip for a compact, control-oriented package. Standard 590-series features include non-binding twin action bars, dual extractors, positive steel-to-steel lockup and an anti-jam elevator. The 590S Shockwave ships with a bead front sight, matte blue metal finish and a top-mounted ambidextrous safety.
Designed for short-length handling and increased magazine capacity with shorter shells, the 51601 Shockwave has an overall length of 26.37 inches and an approximate weight of 5.3 lbs. Factory capacity varies by shell length (4+1, 5+1 or 8+1).
