The Mossberg 590A1 Retrograde is a MIL-SPEC built pump-action shotgun finished with a parkerized metal coating and factory walnut stock and corncob forend. It ships with a 20 in heavy-walled barrel fitted with a ventilated heat shield and bayonet lug, and is equipped with adjustable ghost-ring sights for close-quarters accuracy.
Built on the proven 590A1 platform, the Retrograde features an anodized aluminum receiver, metal trigger assembly and metal safety button, dual extractors, twin action bars and a magazine clean-out tube. The Retrograde was released as part of Mossberg’s Retrograde series and is styled to commemorate the company’s heritage while retaining duty-grade components and construction.
