The Mossberg 590 Shockwave (SKU 50659) is a compact pump-action firearm featuring the Shockwave bird’s-head (Raptor) pistol grip and a strapped corn-cob forend. It ships with a 14.375 in heavy-walled, matte blue cylinder-bore barrel and a bead front sight.
Built on Mossberg’s 590 pump-action platform, the Shockwave includes twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lockup, dual extractors and an anti-jam elevator. The receiver is drilled & tapped and the firearm uses an ambidextrous top-mounted safety. The factory configuration yields a 26.37 in overall length and a 5+1 tubular capacity (12 ga, 3" chamber).
