A factory-equipped tactical version of the Mossberg Model 500, the 500 ATI Scorpion pairs the proven 500 pump-action with ATI tactical components. It ships with an 18.5 in cylinder-bore barrel fitted with an ATI Halo heatshield and short accessory rails, a receiver-mounted Halo side saddle with Add-A-Shell units, and a removable top rail for optics or mounting systems.
The shotgun uses an anodized aluminum receiver and features Mossberg’s ambidextrous top-mounted safety, twin action bars, dual extractors and an anti-jam elevator. Ergonomics are provided by ATI’s TactLite 6-position adjustable Scorpion stock with Scorpion recoil-reducing grip and X2 recoil pad; overall length, weight and length-of-pull adjustments are factory-specified.
