The Mossberg 500 All-Purpose Field is a traditional pump-action 12 gauge shotgun built with a 28 in vent-rib barrel and a wood stock finished in blued metal. It ships with Accu-Set interchangeable chokes and twin bead sights, and uses a 5+1 tubular magazine capacity.
Built on the 500 platform, the model features Mossberg’s anodized aluminum receiver, twin action bars, dual extractors and an ambidextrous top-mounted safety. Typical measured dimensions for this configuration are a 47.5 in overall length with a 13.87 in length of pull and an approximate weight of 7.5 lbs.
