Manufacturer Description
The Kel-Tec SUB2000 is a folding pistol-caliber carbine designed for compact storage and rapid deployment. The design accepts common pistol magazines and folds in half for transport, reducing folded length to roughly 16.25 inches while maintaining a full 30.5 inch overall length when extended.
The receiver is molded from impact-modified, glass-reinforced Zytel polymer and the forend includes Picatinny-style top rails and M-LOK slots for accessories. Standard iron sights are fitted and accessory mounting points are provided on the forend and stock for optics and lights.
The SUB2000 family is a blowback-operated, semi-automatic carbine featuring a push-bolt safety located behind the trigger. Weight is approximately 4.25 lbs unloaded (no magazine) and magazine capacity varies by the pistol magazine used.
