The Mossberg International Silver Reserve Field 28-gauge is an over-and-under break-action shotgun built for upland and field use. It features 26" vent-rib barrels, a front bead sight, shell extractors, and a Field Set of five choke tubes. The receiver carries a satin silver finish with a Mossberg logo engraving and is paired with a satin-finish black walnut stock and forend.
Silver Reserve shotguns use chrome-plated bores and chambers and a dual-locking-lug action. Controls include a tang-mounted safety with integrated barrel selector; the gun has a 14" length-of-pull and an overall length of 43" with an approximate weight of 6.5 lbs. The 28-gauge Field model ships with a standard 2-round capacity and is intended for hunting and sport shooting/competition.
