The Browning Citori is an over-and-under (break-open) double-barrel shotgun built as a modern descendant of John M. Browning’s Superposed. Citori models feature a full-width hinge pin and tapered locking bolt, a floating/vented rib and a single sighting plane; receivers (except Feather models) are machined from steel and stocks/forends are fitted to match each model’s intended use.
Citori shotguns use interchangeable Invector family choke tubes (Invector-Plus or Standard/Invector-DS depending on model and gauge), chrome chambers, ejectors and an inertia-style trigger system. Target/competition models offer adjustable combs and multi-position trigger options; the safety and barrel-selector are combined on the top tang.
