Winchester 52E Heavy Barrel Match Rifle: The Winchester Model 52 rifle is considered among the most accurate .22 LR rifles ever made and is viewed by many as the "gold standard" for bolt action rimfire rifles. The Winchester 52E is the last and most refined version of the legendary Winchester 52 target rifle line (Models 52A, B, C, D, and E). In contrast to the initial 52E version that was produced, the last and most refined final 52E version has a drilled and tapped receiver to accept modern scope mounts, a flat turned down bolt handle to accommodate larger diameter scopes, a recessed front-end muzzle crown to protect critical end rifling, and the latest most advanced Winchester "Micro-Motion" match trigger.
