Winchester 1885 Low Wall Winder 22 Short Musket Training Rifle #137532
Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall Winder Musket single-shot rifle chambered in .22 Short. Classic low-wall falling block action with exposed hammer and traditional wood stock/forend configuration. These were used for target practice by the US military and the civilian market, although this one is not US marked. Bore is excellent. Highly desirable as a Winchester single-shot rimfire in the Winder Musket variant for collectors and shooters looking for period-correct training rifles.
We have inspected this rifle and it functions correctly. Because this is an antique firearm it should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing and by only using proper loads.
