Colt 1861 Rifle w/ Unmarked Conversion 50-70 Centerfire w/ Colt Bayonet

Very good antique Colt rifle that was manufactured in 1864 and then converted to a trapdoor rifle to accept 50-70 centerfire cartridges after the Civil War. Comes with a Colt marked bayonet. Bore is very good with some light pitting throughout.

We have inspected this rifle and it functions correctly. Because this is an antique firearm it should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing and by only using proper loads.
