The M&P15-22 SPORT is a .22 LR blowback semi-automatic rifle built on polymer upper and lower receivers. It ships with Magpul MBUS folding front and rear sights, a 10" M&P slim handguard with Magpul M-LOK slots and a removable 2" M-LOK rail panel for accessories.
Featuring a 16.5" carbon steel barrel and a 25+1 round polymer magazine, the SPORT model includes an adjustable / collapsible CAR-style stock and a 2-position receiver-mounted safety. The rifle is offered in a matte black finish and was introduced as a feature-updated Sport variant of the M&P15-22 line.
