Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport III 5.56 NATO 16in 10rd Semi-Auto Rifle

The M&P15 SPORT III is a semi-automatic modern sporting rifle built for recreation and sport shooting. This compliant-version model features a forged, integral trigger guard, chromed firing pin, forward assist, dust cover and ships with a 10-round magazine. It is chambered in 5.56 NATO / .223 Rem and uses a 16in, 5R rifled, 1:8" twist 4140 steel barrel with an Armornite® finish and a threaded muzzle fitted with an A2-style flash suppressor. The rifle uses a mid-length gas system with a free-floating 15in M-LOK® handguard, a Picatinny-style full-length top rail, 7075-T6 aluminum receivers, polymer grip and a 6-position adjustable stock. Weight is listed at 6.4 lbs (2,903 g).
