The Kel-Tec SU-16C is a semi-automatic sport-utility rifle chambered for 5.56×45mm NATO (.223 Remington). The SU-16C uses a medium/heavy 16" barrel with a 1/2-28" threaded muzzle (thread protector provided) and a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail on the receiver for optics mounting.
Constructed with an impact-resistant, glass-reinforced Zytel receiver, stock and forend, the SU-16C features a true folding stock that can be fired while folded, a dustcover and a case-deflecting operating handle. The rifle accepts most standard M16/STANAG-type magazines and employs a push-bolt safety that blocks the trigger.
