Heckler & Koch HK416 A5 5.56x45mm

The HK416 A5 is a short-stroke gas piston, magazine-fed rifle built on the common M4/M16/AR-15 style platform. It features ambidextrous controls (safety, bolt release, magazine release), an adjustable gas regulator for suppressed or unsuppressed operation, and a slimline, multi-position telescoping stock. The A5 uses a cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel and a lightweight M-LOK handguard with a continuous top Picatinny rail. Designed for military and law-enforcement applications, the HK416 A5 offers a redesigned magazine well to accept a wide range of magazine types, an extended charging handle for ease of operation with optics installed, and a robust short-stroke gas-piston operating system for reduced fouling and longer service intervals. The rifle is offered in multiple barrel lengths for different roles.
