The Hellion 20" is Springfield Armory’s 20-inch-barreled bullpup rifle offering 5.56x45mm NATO performance in a compact, fully ambidextrous platform. The 20" CMV barrel is Melonite® coated with a 1:7 twist and includes an integrated bayonet lug and 4-prong flash hider. It ships with a 30-round Magpul PMAG Gen M3 and a BCMGUNFIGHTER™ Mod 3 pistol grip.
The design features a two-position adjustable short-stroke piston operating system, a five-position collapsible buttstock with cheek riser, ambidextrous safety, ambidextrous charging handle and magazine/bolt release, plus a reversible ejection system. The rifle is fitted with a top Picatinny rail and integrated flip-up front and rear sights (rear with 5-position aperture), and M-LOK® slots in the polymer handguard for accessory attachment.
