The M&P15 Volunteer XV DMR is a 6mm ARC designated-marksmanship configuration built on Smith & Wesson's M&P15 platform. It features a 20.0in threaded, target-crowned 4140 steel barrel with a PWS muzzle brake and a 15.0in free-floating aluminum S&W M-LOK forend.
The rifle uses a rifle-length gas system and a flat-face trigger on a 7075 aluminum receiver finished in matte black with an Armornite® finished barrel. Standard equipment includes a B5 Systems SOPMOD stock, B5 P-Grip 23 pistol grip, ambidextrous Radian Raptor-LT charging handle, WGS folding front and rear sights, and one 25-round ASC magazine included with the rifle.
