The Smith & Wesson M&P 15 AXE Performance Center (Model 13986) is a premium, suppressor-optimized AR-15 style rifle built around a forged 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set and chambered in 5.56 NATO. The AXE series uses Gemtech GVAC upper technology and ships with a Gemtech ETM flash hider; the Performance Center model adds a HIPERFIRE Enhanced Duty trigger with copper PVD finish, an ambidextrous Radian safety selector and a Magpul DT carbine stock. Standard features include a Radian Raptor charging handle, Williams folding sights, and a Midwest Industries 15" free-floating M-LOK handguard.
