The M&P 15 Sport II is a 5.56 NATO / .223 Rem AR-platform semi-automatic rifle configured here as a California-compliant model with a 16in barrel and a 10-round magazine. This CA-compliant variant ships with a fixed stock, an A2-style front sight post and a folding Magpul MBUS rear sight.
The rifle is built with a 1:9" twist, 6-groove barrel finished with Armornite, a forged integral trigger guard, chromed firing pin and a carbine-length gas system. Specified overall length is 35.0in and weight is listed at 6.69 lb for this configuration.
