The Savage RXR22 is a lightweight, straight-blowback semi-automatic .22 LR rifle built around a rugged polymer receiver with an integral 0 MOA Picatinny top rail. It ships with a 16.5-inch precision button-rifled, 1/2"-28 threaded carbon steel barrel and a 10-round detachable rotary magazine that provides a last-round bolt hold open with factory Savage magazines. The RXR22 features a quick-release trigger group and removable barrel, interchangeable grip inserts (small/medium/large), metal sling studs, and a short Picatinny accessory rail molded into the fore-end tip for bipods or lights. The stock includes slip-proof panels on the grip/handguard for improved purchase and a rear cleaning port in the receiver for easy maintenance.
