The Savage A22 Takedown is a semi-automatic .22 LR takedown rifle built for easy transport and outdoor use. It features an 18 in carbon steel matte-black threaded barrel (1/2-28"), a 0 MOA Picatinny rail with an iron-sight channel, and low-profile iron sights. The rifle uses a synthetic adjustable sporter stock with an adjustable cheek piece and multiple dry-storage compartments (pistol-grip storage and a magazine compartment in the cheek riser). It ships with a 10-round rotary magazine, an AccuTrigger adjustable from 3–5 lbs, and a cross-bolt safety for straightforward operation.
