Savage A17 Target Sporter 47006

The A17 Target Sporter features a gray wood-laminate sporter stock with a heavy 22-inch button-rifled barrel and a blued carbon-steel finish. It uses Savage’s delayed-blowback action with a hard-chrome bolt and case-hardened receiver, and feeds from a 10-round rotary magazine. The rifle ships with Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger for a crisp pull and the receiver is drilled and tapped with two-piece scope bases (no iron sights installed), making it ready for optics mounting. The Target Sporter configuration is intended for accurate small-game/varmint use and target-style shooting.
