The SIG516 G3 is a short-stroke piston AR-15 style rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO. It ships standard with a 16 in cold hammer-forged 1:7 barrel, a SIG flash hider/compensator, and a (1) 30rd polymer magazine.
The rifle features a free-floating M-LOK alloy handguard, steel non-reciprocating rear and side charging handles, a Matchlite DUO curved trigger, and fully ambidextrous controls (safety, charging handle, bolt catch & release). It also includes a 6-position Magpul DT stock and an adjustable gas system for suppressor or adverse-condition use.
