The Ruger PC Carbine Backpacker is a takedown 9mm pistol-caliber carbine built on Ruger’s PC Carbine platform and factory-equipped with the Magpul PC Backpacker stock. This Backpacker configuration ships with a 16.12in fluted, threaded barrel (1/2"-28) and a detachable/takedown design that allows the barrel/forend assembly to separate for compact storage.
Factory features verified for the Backpacker model include an aluminum-alloy receiver with an integrated Picatinny-style optics rail, interchangeable magazine well system that accepts Ruger SR-Series/Security-9 magazines (Glock magazine well included), an adjustable ghost-ring rear aperture and protected blade front sight, and a 17-round magazine capacity. The PC Carbine Backpacker is finished in a Type III hard-coat anodized receiver with a Stealth Gray Magpul PC Backpacker synthetic stock.
