The Ruger Mini-14 Ranch is a lightweight, Garand-style semi-automatic rifle featuring a gas-operated fixed-piston system and a cold hammer-forged barrel for long service life and consistent accuracy. The receiver is machined with integral scope mounts and is drilled and tapped for the included Picatinny rail; the rifle ships with two magazines and scope rings.
This Ranch configuration is finished in blued alloy-steel with a black synthetic stock. Model 5855 is chambered in 5.56 NATO / .223 Rem, ships with a 18.50in barrel, a protected blade front sight and ghost-ring rear aperture, and a 5-round magazine. Overall length is 37.50in and weight is 6.7 lbs.
