The KelTec R50 is a 5.7x28mm shoulder-fired rifle built around the P50 50-round FN P90/PS90-style magazine. The R50 features a 16.1in barrel, a side-folding metal buttstock and a long top Picatinny rail for optics. The rifle ships with iron/utility sights and a threaded muzzle.
Designed as a rifle variant of the P50 platform, the R50 uses a direct-blowback action and a translucent 50-round magazine. KelTec lists an overall length of 30.5in (stock extended), a collapsed/folded configuration for compact storage, and an unloaded weight in the cataloged spec.
