The Kel-Tec SUB2000 is a folding, semi-automatic pistol-caliber carbine built around an impact-modified, glass-reinforced Zytel receiver. The barrel folds up and back over the receiver for compact storage; when deployed the SUB2000 provides a 16.25in barrel and a full-length ready-to-use configuration.
The SUB2000 accepts a variety of double-column handgun magazines (capacity varies by magazine) and features a threaded muzzle for attaching muzzle devices. The forend ships with accessory rail and M-LOK slots for attachments, while the sighting system uses an adjustable front sight with a rear sight that deploys when unfolding the barrel.
